Description

A flick of the hand is all it takes to eject a spent cartridge and load a new one in the Browning® BL-22 Grade I Lever-Action Rimfire Rifle. The BL-22’s action cycles with a short 33° lever throw, without your hand ever leaving the loop, making the BL-22 nearly as fast to shoot as a semi-auto rifle while retaining the reliability of a lever-action. The trigger stays with the trigger guard/lever eliminating finger pinch. The receiver on the Grade II model is machined from solid steel, is grooved for 3/8″ scope rings, and has scroll engraving. The barrel, receiver, and all exterior metal have a high polished blued finish. A gloss finished, checked walnut stock and forearm accentuates the LR-22’s fine lines, while bringing out the beauty of the walnut and protecting it from the elements. A folding rear sight and a dovetailed, steel blade front sight provide rapid sight acquisition and fine accuracy. The tubular magazine is convenient to load, and the BL-22 functions flawlessly with .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle ammunition. The BL-22 Lever-Action Rimfire Rifle operates with the time-tested, 3-position hammer. This is a high-grade 22 rifle for serious small game hunting, as well as training and plinking.

  • Machined steel receiver
  • High polished blued barrel and receiver

Just bought the Wrangler. So right out of the box you have to get the goofy BPS trigger lock off, but they include the tool so not a big deal. Then you pull out the yellow safety check cylinder block by removing the cylinder rotation pin and taking out the cylinder. Reassemble and now you’re in business. I observed a great finish, comparatively light wheel gun that was perfectly Ruger done right everywhere. Great looking piece at a phenomenal bargain price. I think the silver finish model which is the 20034 looks great. See which one the BPS person brings out to you…if he/she shows you the 20041 then you are looking at the burnt bronze.

This does not have the ability to shoot .22 mag, no spare cylinder and aluminum frame not built for that higher power round. 22lr/s only.

And despite what the manual says, DON’T DRYFIRE IT!!!! It’s a Ruger, yes, but still a rimfire!

Again, this is an awesome bargain that is cheap to shoot, plinker approved and varmint feared. Go get one!

Great little Long Gun. Good Long Gun to teach youngsters.

I had to return this gun right after inspecting it in the store upon arrival. It had multiple cosmetic and casting imperfections. My expectations were for a better craftsmanship, but…
