Browning Rain Slayer-FM Gore-Tex Pant

Who’ll stop the rain? The Rain Slayer-FM Gore-Tex Pant is a thin packable layer, designed from the ground up to give you extremely lightweight and effective protection from whatever wet weather Mother Nature can throw at you while you’re out in the elements. Best of all it’s tough, able to absorb all the scratches and scrapes you might find yourself in the woods or on the mountain because waterproof pants are useless once you tear a hole in them

FM = Fast and Mobile. Browing Hell’s Canyon Speed clothing won’t slow you down or restrict your movement. Fully articulated, lightweight, and packable – Speed clothing will keep you comfortable but the highest design priority was to not slow down the athlete hunter who uses it.

Engineered with 3-layer Gore-Tex technology. The Gore-Tex membrane is bonded to both the outer material and the inner lining, eliminating movement between the layers reduces wear and tear for greater durability. This design reduces excess bulk and weight to a minimum. Browning Rain Slayer-FM Gore-Tex Pant, It also provides breathable comfort and durable waterproof and windproof protection over a wide range of outdoor activities.

Very light-weight, high quality pants! Camo pattern is outstanding with sharp detail & color is vibrant, not faded like others. Great stitching, pockets perfectly placed/sized & side ventilation zips are nice touch for hot days. Could be just a tad more loose fitting over jeans in early/late fall so just ordered another pair in size medium & will use the size small for hot spring/summer days with just boxer shorts underneath. Also these are light pants designed solely for concealment in warmer temps so don’t be complaining if you damage them walking through horrible terrain…you wouldn’t walk through bush in your pajamas would you? Hands down the best hunt pants for the $ in the greatest camo pattern ever conceived for areas with lots of green!

I’m 5’11”, slim 130lbs & size small fits snugly over jeans as cover-up camo, which is what I bought them for. Fit almost mirrors my favorite jeans with just enough extra room while bending, sitting or kneeling.

Couldn’t be happier with these. They are very cool, even when temps climb into the 90’s. The pants have reinforced knees, but the placement of the reinforced fabric is too low for me and actually down on the shins. There is no reinforced seat. Even with these minor flaws, I still gave these pants five stars. That’s how comfortable and cool they are. They also seem to be well made, and the camouflage color is very good and has not faded one bit. You won’t be disappointed with these.

Schöne Hose nur im Winter sollte man etwas drunter ziehen

Color is perfect on these and so light it’s like not wearing pants at all. Perfect pants to freeball in.

Opened the product. Super quality/price/for intended use. Great weight for the Southeast (live in Georgia). Can be worn in cold with long thermals. Practical pocket locations. Adjustable at waist is a really good feature. Will be using them for hunting and outdoor hiking. I’m 5’11 / 200# w/ waist 36″ – bought large.

I bought these pants for a pheasant hunt in South Dakota toward the end of the month and I wanted to try them out prior to leaving. I took them out grouse hunting and I have to say that they performed perfectly. For the price listed you won’t be able to beat it. I was originally looking to get chaps, but the 38-30 fit perfectly and would recommend these britches to anyone. Also plan on using them while weed wacking.

Camo pattern looks great, pockets are handy, fit is pretty true to size description. These are so lightweight, I will probably just keep them in the storage compartment in my truck and put them on over my jeans if a spontaneous turkey hunt presents itself! I can’t speak for durability yet, but they look nice for sure. They have the drawstring ankle cuffs. I’m also planning to use them for kayaking/ wading pants this summer as they feel like they’ll stay cool and dry out in a heartbeat.

  9. Jennifer

Great lightweight pants for turkey season and early deer season. Cant review the durability yet because I have not hunted in them yet. I will say they are very thin and will probably tare easily on briars. They will definitely keep you cool in warmer weather. Fit as expected. I am 6’ 2” and 215 lbs and the large fits me perfectly.

  10. Brian

great pants. I walked through thigh high thorn patch and I walked right through it. The pockets are good and I think they were a little tight but the length was perfect. There’s a bit of a break in period but they are comfortable. I did wear thermals under them because it was freezing out. Worth every penny.

  11. Faith

I hunt in Tennessee, the opening week or 2 can still be in the 30’s every morning. These pants are not for that. These pants are for when its 85 and you’re gonna run n gun all day. Literally the thinnest pants iv ever owned. But the quality is there! If you need very light pants that won’t sweat you out get these!

  12. Fabrice

These are a tad snug for me. I wear a 46″ waist. The legs are long, but the ties on the end make that a non issue. They fit fine over thermals. Probably would do fine over other pants as well, so good on that count.

The material is great for not snagging and not picking up too much (e.g., leaves and dirt) when sitting on the ground. The extra pockets could be handy, though I didn’t really use them. The front pockets held my phone pretty well, but it slid out while lying down on my back. No big deal.

Overall, I think they are quite suitable for the purpose as camos that you wear over other layers. Not sure I’d wear them by themselves, though.

  13. Rob Hoff

I love the lightweight material. It’s breathable, moisture-wicking but still stands up to briars. It fits as expected, and the elastic waist is a big plus. Perfect for warm weather turkey hunting and bow season.

  14. Rick n amanda

I wore these last week turkey hunting and I loved them. I am a female 5’7″ and 138 pounds and the mens small fit perfectly! I can wear leggings under them comfortably or alone comfortably! I will buy these fir deer season as well. It’s hard for women to find comfortable hunting clothes that are affordable! These are great!

  15. Gregory

I’m 6 ft 175 usually wear a 32 32 pant and the large fits really well. These things are tough. I didn’t expect them to be because of what the material feels like and how light weight they are but the withheld a rough day of tracking a blood trail for about 11 hours on my hands and knees through mostly thick brush and prickers. Not one tear or anything although they don’t protect too well against that sort of stuff being so thin. Bottomland blends in well the all the locust trees we have.

  16. Vallery G

I bought these because someone one else reviewed them saying” excellent pants to grr ball in”.
    These pants are just that.
    I normally despise pants.
    I usually wear overalls.
    These pants are so comfortable.
I wish I could wear them while playing golf.
I feel so free and loose !
All pants should feel as comfortable
